The region:

The “commune” of Stoumont stretches mostly in the valley of the Amblève, between Aywaille, Spa and Coo. It is a rural hilly and wooded “commune”, with rugged terrain, providing magnificent landscapes and a whole range of wonderful walkways (La Vecquée, la Chefna, Mouthouet, les Fonds de Quareux, le Ninglinspo and a lot of marked trails).
Located at an 8-minute distance from the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps and the Cascade de Coo, at an 8-minute distance from Spa and a little more from Stavelot, Andrimont is a small vilage surrounded by woods and pastures and crossed by the great hiking trail no. 5.

Far away from the turmoil, you will find the calm and the serenity to recharge your batteries. This small haven of peace is however an excellent pied-à-terre if you wish to take part to the many activities offered in the surroundings.

At less than 10 km, you will find several supermarkets (GB at Trois-Ponts and at Spa, Carrefour at Malmédy, Delhaize at Trois-Ponts and at Spa), as well as many stores (baker’s, chemist’s, grocer’s, post office...).

During the day, a lot of activities are offered to you by a region with a rich historical past. The directly accessible walkways, cultural tours, folk and architectural discoveries are on the list (Museums and Abbey of de Stavelot, Museum of La Gleize, Museums of Spa).
Adventure sports (kayaking, rafting, climbing, quad, paragliding, mountain bike, horse-hiking…) and other less adventurous sports (badminton, tennis, golf, petanque, walking in the woods) and winter sports (cross-country skiing and alpine skiing) but also nearby indoor and outdoor swimming pools offer many possibilities.

Within a less than 20 km radius, you will find the Sun Parc of Vielsalm, the Cascade de Coo and its new amusement park, the Parc at Gibiers, the Wild World of Aywaille and the caves of Remouchamps. As well as all the activities belonging to the city of Spa: Thermes, Francofolies, Rally L'Ardenne Bleue, circuit of Spa-Francorchamps for the lovers of motor sports (Formula 1, motor, motocross, karting, 4X4...).
